Social networking

Well, having had annual leave and sick leave over the last week or so I'm now well behind on CCLlearn!! But this morning I signed up to Facebook and have made 2 friends with a couple more to be confirmed. Jolly good fun after initially experiencing much frustration with Internet Explorer. Error messages, white screen syndrome etc. Much better with Firefox. Must carry on.

Progress update

Think I'm OK on RSS feeds, found Podcasts more confusing but got there in the end. Want to spend more time on this. Played around in Flickr mashups- created a jigsaw puzzle in Big Huge Labs, and a rather nice word cloud in Wordle and used Image Generator to give Insite an Irish-inspired logo.

RSS Feeds

Well, that wasn't too bad. I've been using Google Reader to subscribe to RSS feeds that have been helping me with one of our latest research requests so that's made the exercise more meaningful. Have also subscribed to a few news feeds. Think that's enough of RSS for now.
